Google Business Analyst, YouTube Trust and Safety in Hyderabad, India

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Operations Research, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, a similar quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 2 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, business intelligence, data science, or corporate strategy.

  • Experience with data analysis, modeling, SQL, and presentations.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 4 years of experience in an analytical role.

  • Experience in project management and process optimization with data analytics.

  • Experience in the extracting, sampling, and visualization of large data sets.

  • Experience writing and maintaining ETLs which operate on a variety of structured and unstructured sources.

  • Experience delivering production-level metrics, insights, and actions.

  • Experience with abuse prevention, policy, and regulatory systems.

  • Develop, build, and measure performance on operational metrics (e.g., productivity, service level agreement, quality, cost, efficiency, timeliness) and generate insights to improve the efficiency of operations.

  • Understand user impact of policies and conduct detailed analyses that result in actionable insights to enhance user experience.

  • Support Trust and Safety objectives, operational effectiveness, and incident response.

  • Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Legal, and Product Management teams to craft convincing narratives to key policy makers, executives, and governments based on methodical and data-driven approach.

  • Partner with data science and strategy teams to prioritize and execute quantitative analyses and advanced modeling.
