In this role, you will provide instructional design expertise for internal and external training needs of the Sales Organization in THV.

How You’ll Make an impact:

• Plan, design, develop, and lead the execution of complex instructional design activities using various media and related training materials and tools to achieve learning objectives with accountability for successful completion within scope of significant project deliverables including analyzing relevant metrics, identifying gaps, recommending solutions while providing direction and guidance to smaller project teams

• Utilize programs such as ShowPad and Docebo to create engaging and informative training content

• Identify potential project opportunities for partnering and consulting with internal stakeholders to develop end-to-end training strategies. Gain agreement with key stakeholders on training program outcomes and success and ROI metrics.

• Develop time, cost and resource estimates for potential project opportunities

• Manage vendors who design and develop learning deliverables

• Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate the effectiveness of learning experiences

• Evaluate practices for continuous process improvement

• Provide business unit/client and focused coaching and consulting on the instructional design process, deliverables, and expected outcomes.

What you’ll need:

• Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of previous related experience, including designing courses and utilizing various training delivery methods (e.g., ILT, CBT, Web-based, Virtual Class, Performance Support Tools) or Master's Degree with 6 years of previous related experience, including designing courses and utilizing various training delivery methods (e.g., ILT, CBT, Web-based, Virtual Class, Performance Support Tools)

What else we look for (Preferred):

• Proven successful project management skills within medical device or pharmaceutical industry

• Proven expertise in both Microsoft Office Suite, including related systems

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives

• Extensive knowledge of own area within the organization while contributing to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards

• Experience in developing training for a sales organization is strongly preferred.

• Experience with LMS management and platforms such as Litmos, Sharepoint, Showpad, Docedo, Cornerstone

• Experience with a variety of eLearning templates such as Articulate Storyline or Adobe InDesign as well as a variety of instructional strategies including e-learning, podcasts, live virtual, and instructor led

• Experience designing medical educational content with cardiovascular system and medical device focus

• Experience working in a regulated environment as well as knowledge of AdvaMed and Vault requirements

• Extensive knowledge of instructional design theory and interactive development processes and evaluation methodologies

• Expert understanding of related aspects of instructional design processes and/or systems

• Broad understanding of the organizational and matrix structures of the company

• Ability to develop and integrate metrics into the projects and operations that clearly demonstrate the value of instructional design to the business

• Excellent leadership and negotiating skills and ability to influence and implement change

• Strict attention to detail

• Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels and proactively escalate issues to appropriate levels of management in the organization

• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment

• Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control

For California, the base pay range for this position is $100,000 to $142,000 (highly experienced).
