Robert Half Development Assistant in Hunt Valley, Maryland

Description

We are seeking a dedicated Development Assistant! The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the development department, focusing on donor relations, database management, and membership coordination. Proficiency in Raiser's Edge software and excellent organizational skills are essential for success in this role.

Database Management:

  • Utilize Raiser's Edge database to accurately record and maintain donor information.

  • Input and update donor records, ensuring data integrity and completeness.

  • Generate reports and queries as needed to support fundraising activities.

  • Conduct regular data audits to identify and correct errors or inconsistencies.

Donor Relations:

  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of acknowledgement letters, ensuring timely and personalized communication with donors.

  • Collaborate with the development team to implement stewardship strategies and cultivate donor relationships.

  • Provide support for donor inquiries and requests, delivering excellent customer service.

Membership Management:

  • Administer membership programs, including processing new memberships, renewals, and upgrades.

  • Coordinate membership communications and outreach efforts to engage current and prospective members.

  • Maintain accurate membership records and generate reports to track membership metrics.

Administrative Support:

  • Provide general administrative assistance to the development department, including filing, correspondence, and scheduling.

  • Assist with event planning and execution, including logistical support and attendee management.

  • Collaborate with team members on special projects and initiatives as needed.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.

  • Proficiency in Raiser's Edge or similar donor database software is required.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to providing exceptional donor stewardship.

  • Experience in the non-profit sector or fundraising is preferred.
