Robert Half IT Manager in Huber Heights, Ohio

Description We are seeking an IT Manager to spearhead our technology operations and strategic planning, ensuring alignment with our business objectives. This role is based in HUBER HEIGHTS, Ohio, and will involve leading a team of tech professionals, managing projects and budgets, and serving as a subject matter expert for tech strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Formulate and execute strategic plans for IT systems that support business goals.

• Oversee the company's technology projects from inception to completion.

• Evaluate and specify the most appropriate server hardware specifications and configurations.

• Implement robust cybersecurity measures, including firewalls and comprehensive understanding of networking protocols and ports.

• Administer and maintain software and operating systems, such as Windows 7+, Windows Server 2016+, Microsoft Teams, XenServer, Exchange Online, and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Manage Microsoft SQL Server, including tasks like configuration, database management, backup & recovery, and log shipping.

• Oversee Windows Systems Administration tasks including Active Directory, DNS Server, Group Policy, IIS, Mail Relay, SSL Certificates, and FTP services.

• Design and manage network architecture and administration, including Layer 2 & 3 switches, routers, access points, VLANS, and VPNs.

• Manage VOIP phone systems and ensure their efficient operation.

• Develop and implement strategic plans for IT systems that align with company goals.

• Configuration Management Requirements • Applicant must possess a minimum of seven years of experience in an IT managerial role.

• Proficiency in Cisco Technologies is required.

• Must have experience with Cloud Technologies.

• Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) is essential.

• Familiarity with Dell Technologies is required.

• Experience in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is needed.

• Knowledge of Active Directory is required.

• Must have experience in Auditing.

• Proficiency in Backup Technologies is highly desirable.

• Experience with Computer Hardware is required.
