Overview
Our client is seeking aWarehouse Supervisorfor their facility in northeast Houston, TX!
TheWarehouse Supervisoris responsible for the logistics of receiving, processing, storing, and shipping inventory, including chemicals.
Responsibilities
Loading materials and shipping containers
Organizing incoming stock
Putting labels on outgoing parcels
Following up on materials and components orders
Controlling stock levels
Analyzing demand projections
Working with technicians to establish order & inventory priorities
Utilizing and monitoring material planning procedures
Recording and maintaining inventory
Advising the imports received and items exported
Training new workers
Ensuring performance is adequate
Managing warehouse subcontractors
Purchasing & ordering tools & materials
Projecting consumables and spare parts
Identifying and reporting deviations
Maintaining warehouse KPIs
Qu alifications
2+ years of previous Warehouse Lead/Supervision experience
Previous experience overseeing chemical storage & shipping
Strong inventory control & capacity planning experience
Experience with processing inventory via QuickBooks
