Responsibilities

Weatherford is looking for a Senior Consolidations Accountant to support the Consolidations function. This person will perform at an advanced level any combination of Financial Accounting duties: Review monthly reconciliations for the Balance Sheet Accounts, Perform monthly processes in JDE / Hyperion HFM necessary to ensure timely and accurate reporting, Prepare Internal / External Audit Reports as requested,Perform month end close JDE /Hyperion HFM, Report financial information within the system; as needed, Develop and maintain the JDE / Hyperion HFM reports, Review for the integrity and accuracy of monthly reports.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for monthly analysis and ad hoc reviews of the consolidated financials

• Responsible for monthly analysis of Corporate and support costs, including building relationships with global management

• Identify and recommend process improvements and simplification.

• Audit coordination with external auditors

• Assist with balance sheet reconciliation reviews

• Write and/or update SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures) as needed.

• Record consolidation entries

• Leasing Contract Review, lease classification tests, creation, and maintenance of leases in Visual Lease

Qualifications

Experience and Education:

REQUIRED

• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance

• 3-5 years Accounting Experience

  Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Excel, Word, SharePoint

• Self-Motivated

• Excellent critical reasoning, quantitative, and analytical skills

• Proven organizational skills with attention to detail

• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

• Knowledge of GAAP

• Strong understanding of debits and credits

• Ability to understand complex scenarios

  Preferred:

• Public-company experience and/or Big 4 audit experience

• PowerBI, Advanced Excel

• JDE, Hyperion (HFM, Smartview, Essbase)

• Visual Lease Software for lease accounting

• Familiarity with multi-currency, international environment

• Familiarity with multiple ledger entities

• Knowledge of JD Edwards/SAP. CPA or other accounting certification.

• Energy Services experience.
