Description/Job Summary
The Ideal candidate will have substantial exposure to month end close and financial statement preparation
Reporting directly to the CFO, the ideal candidate will be organized, analytical and will be the leader of the accounting team
Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
Lead the month-end close
Prepare all financial statements & reports for Senior Management team
Assist with the annual audit process including the draft of the financial statements and reports for senior management team
Other special projects as assigned
Manage the company's accounting operations, including establishing and enforcing financial policies, procedures, and controls
Required Qualifications
Must have a Bachelor's or advanced Degree in Accounting
5 Years of Professional Accounting Experience
CPA preferred
Working knowledge of Vista software is preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
Strong Working Knowledge of GAAP and ability to perform technical accounting research
Comprehensive knowledge of month-end and year-end close activities
