Job Description

Insight Global is looking to hire a Buyer in Downtown Houston, onsite 5 days per week. This person will be supporting a category that includes mostly services - Mechanical Maintenance, Consulting, Health Services, Environmental Testing. We need someone who is comfortable with expediting. This person will be negotiating with vendors - reviewing vendor proposals, negotiating T&Cs, payment milestones and negotiating commercial terms.

Skills and Requirements

3+ years of experience in Buying

Experience Processing Purchase Orders in SAP

Oil and Gas Experience - Specifically purchasing services

Running RFQs (email, verify package, due dates, tracking from start to finish)

Excellent Communication

Experience Expediting

Negotiation skills - reviewing vendor proposals, negotiating T&C, payment milestones. SAP HANA

Change Order / Updating POs

Tax or Foreign Goods Experience null
