Description

We are seeking a Business Analyst to join our team in the automotive industry, based in Houston, Texas. This role involves supporting various phases of product development, facilitating and executing a seamless integration of business processes with advanced data-driven insights. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external service providers to identify and implement the most effective IT solutions, ensuring that data and analytics solutions align with the strategic goals of the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Support the AI/ML Product Owner and project team through various product phases such as Process Analysis, Requirements, User Acceptance Testing, Training, Deployment, and Continuous Improvement.

• Document current and emerging business needs and work with internal and external service providers to define and deliver data and analytics solutions.

• Participate in sessions to gather business context from AI/ML Product Owners, analyze, and document findings.

• Document business requirements, use stories, and technical requirements with the focus on AI/ML.

• Perform data analysis on different data sources, consolidating multiple data sets and analyzing the data accurately and efficiently.

• Conduct business process analysis to define how data and analytic solutions should be configured to meet those needs.

• Perform data analysis to review and analyze business performance prior to and post the deployment of data and analytic solutions.

• Use SQL, BI Reports and ad-hoc analysis within PowerBI, Tableau, Excel, and other applications.

• Map current processes to the desired state and identify gaps such as program functions, output requirements, input requirements and sources, data conversion strategies, and system techniques and controls.

• Utilize skills in Atlassian Jira, Gap Analysis, Informatica, Agile Scrum, Business Process Functions, Business Requirement Document, Microsoft Power BI to perform tasks and responsibilities effectively.

Requirements

• Applicant must have a strong understanding of Atlassian Jira software

• Proficiency in Gap Analysis is required

• Familiarity with AI/ML software is highly desirable

• Experience with Agile Scrum methodology is essential

• Candidate must have knowledge of Business Process Functions

• Ability to draft and comprehend Business Requirement Documents is crucial

• Experience with Microsoft Power BI is necessary

• Previous experience in the automotive industry is highly desirable

• The applicant should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and presentation skills are required

• Ability to work in a team and manage projects is essential

• Proficiency in data interpretation and report writing is desired

• The candidate should be able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize them effectively

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field is required

• A master's degree or relevant certifications will be considered as an added advantage.
