Our client in East Downtown Houston is currently seeking an s an entry-level Accounts Receivable Clerk. This is a temp-to-hire position providing exposure to all aspects of accounts receivable. Working alongside our dynamic financial team, the successful candidate will be actively involved in billing, invoicing, and collections activities.

Job Responsibilities:

• Handle outgoing billing and invoicing.

• Send payment reminders to customers.

• Keep track of pending payments and report any inconsistencies.

• Coordinate with team members to address customer complaints and discrepancies.

• Help in the collections department with past due balances.

• Maintain an accurate record of customer interactions, transactions, comments and complaints.

• Collaborate with the accounts payable team to reconcile invoices accurately.

• Perform any other related duties as assigned.

  Requirements

• Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines.

• Excel in a team environment.

• Ability to problem solve and have good judgment.

• Strong organizational skills.

• Good negotiation skills for collections.
