This position is responsible for processing and verifying applications for credit and solicits payment on overdue accounts.

• Posts customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions.

• Posts revenues by verifying and entering transactions from lock box and local deposits.

• Maintains records by microfilming invoices, debits, and credits.

• Verifies validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales, trade promotions, customer service departments, and from customers;

• Resolves invalid or unauthorized deductions by following pending deductions procedures.

salary: $24 - $30 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities

• Processes customer payments for proper posting to accounts.

• Prepares payments for bank deposits.

• Reconciles the Accounts Receivable Ledger including accounting for chargebacks.

• Researches customer inquiries and resolving any issues.

Skills

• Accounts Receivable (2 years of experience is preferred)

• Cash Posting (2 years of experience is preferred)

• Collections (2 years of experience is preferred)
