Description

Our client, located in the Houston Galleria area, is currently in need of an Accounts Payable Analyst on a contract to possible full-time basis. The Accounts Payable Analyst will be responsible for researching purchase order errors, managing the accounts payable exception list, analyzing their vendor database for any discrepancies, as well as resolving vendor issues. Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills are required and PeopleSoft software is strongly preferred! This is a very fast pace and high volume environment! Please apply TODAY!

Requirements

• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are a must, as well as great attention to detail

• 5+ years of experience in accounts payable analysis

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight

• Must have advanced knowledge of reporting and spreadsheet applications, including V-lookups, pivot tables, and queries
