Job Title: Project Engineer

Job Description

Join our team as a Project Engineer where you will be an integral part of building a new plant to support the growing Electric Vehicle industry. Our company produces the carbon material that is used in batteries. As a Process Engineer, you will be involved in all aspects of building a $200 million plant, from concept development to commissioning. Your responsibilities will include designing the process flow of a new ultra high thermo-purification plant, becoming the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for this process and coordinating the efforts of a team of engineers and technicians. Your goal will be to ensure that the project is completed on time and within budget.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Hopkinsville, Kentucky.

Work Environment

This will be a new project, but understanding our current processes is essential. You will need to walk around our existing plant to see how processes are carried out. Please note that the plant is large and can be very dirty. A respirator is required in some areas, and the clothes you wear in the plant will likely be stained.
