Description

We are in search of a meticulous General Office Clerk/Customer Service Representative to join a reputable company in the logistics industry, based in Honolulu, Hawaii. The successful General Office Clerk/Customer Service Representative candidate will be responsible for scheduling, tracking shipments, providing top-notch customer service, and maintaining careful record keeping in a bustling office environment. This role offers a contract-to-permanent employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee import/export documents.

• Provide quotations to customers and agents as necessary.

• Manage customer invoicing and vendor invoice accruals.

• Provide customers with timely updates on order status.

• Coordinate with third-party vendors for pickups and deliveries.

• Assist with scheduling.

• Other clerical duties as needed.

Requirements

• Must have at least one year of experience in a similar role

• Proficient in basic office skills such as organization, time management, and multitasking

• Knowledgeable in the operation of basic office equipment including printers, scanners, photocopiers, and fax machines

• Comfortable with answering inbound and making outbound calls in a business manner

• Proficient in data entry, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy

• Capable of uploading and managing documents in a digital format

• Familiar with documentation procedures, including filing, copying, and scanning of physical documents

• Proficient in using Microsoft Word for document creation, editing, and formatting

• Proficient in using Microsoft Excel for data organization, calculation, and analysis

• Has the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle office records and documents appropriately

• Must be a team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Must have a problem-solving mindset with an ability to adapt to changes in a fast-paced work environment.
