Project Sales Supervisor, K&B HK
Basic Functions
Reporting directly to Associate Director - Sales, K&B Hong Kong, Macau & Guam, the identified candidate is responsible for planning, conducting and evaluating all project field sales activities in order to promote Kohler brand products in Hong Kong and Macau. He/she is responsible for developing sales strategies for achieving increased penetration of major mechanical contracts, builders, developers, designers, specifiers and the lodging industry. He/she works within the guidelines of the project quotation program and the residential quotation program to partner with distributors in obtaining additional project job orders.
Specific responsibilities
Establish and maintain regular contact with major specifiers, mechanical contractors, designers, builders, developers, and the lodging industry in Hong Kong and Macau
Identify and recommend appropriate promotional and support material required to enhance the image of Kohler within the project market and new residential market.
Coordinate and implement presentations to major specifiers, mechanical contractors, designers, builders, developers and the lodging industry to introduce new products, assist in selecting product, writing proposals, specifications and obtaining approval of Kohler products.
Work with local government authorities and inspectors to assure specific local approvals, listings or product standard tests.
Coordinate and facilitate company participation in industry associations and trade shows to increase the visibility of Kohler brand products.
Establish close partnership with the distributor personnel to make sure they keep abreast of new residential programs and the process involved in requesting quotations, submitting and releasing orders for jobs.
Prepare reports and analysis relating to the business, market trends and sales activities.
Coordinate and administer sales support materials, i.e. audio-visual equipment, literature, displays, product samples, catalogs and other sales materials.
Skills/Requirements
Education and experience REQUIREMENTS
University/ college graduate
At least 6 years of sales experience in the construction material or consumer goods industry
Strong networking with developers, architecture firms, and interior design firms
Exposure in Bath and kitchen industry is desirable
Good command of English communication skills
Possess strong communication, interpersonal, presentation skills.
Distributor management experience is essential
