The Supply Chain Analyst will be responsible for managing and analyzing the entire supply chain for high risk, complex activities. This role will develop across supply chain business models to achieve major improvements within business process, demand planning, capacity management, inventory management or logistics costs. The individual will be required to make decisions involving high degree of complexity. This individual will work with the management team to develop supply chain disciplines and best practices including processes and procedures. This role requires an exceptional level of strategic thinking, change initiation and long term corporate perspective.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Focus on tactical projects with some work on strategic initiatives

• Represent the supply chain on cross functional business unit teams

• Propose, implement and support multi-site or high-level business tools and process enhancements (continuous process improvement)

• Analyze and document processes using standards and methodologies

• Analyze entire supply chain including logistics costs, materials and sources

• Recommend improvements based on supply chain analysis

• Lead integration of new high-level process changes

• Manage large projects related to changes in the supply chain

• Communicate project status to all levels of management

• Develops and delivers business plans or models for operations management and other supply chain Leaders

• Requires ability to define high risk or high-level problems, collect data, analyze data, offer solutions, and implement to achieve the desired results

• Identify, develop and complete strategic level work plans for entire supply chain or high-risk projects

• Own, develop and implement business processes and related improvements

• Facilitate small-medium teams having explicit objectives and scope

• Manage entire supply chain cross-functional projects

• Ability to align project or process improvement goals with functional business objectives

• Ability to work independently across the entire supply chain and thrive in non-hierarchical organization

• Provide back-up support for area coordinators, supervisors, and managers

• A team leader on tactical projects of 3 to 5 people or directs the work of others within projects or process improvement activities

• Provides indirect work direction to individuals assigned to strategic projects

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience with SAP

• Experience with Excel

• Experience with Microsoft Office

• Supply Chain Experience (Degree or Work)
