Tax Manager, National Tax, Tax Technology and Transformation - Microsoft Products (Manager) (Multiple Positions), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, Hoboken, NJ.

Provide business tax services and tax technology services to help clients meet complex demands for tax compliance and planning. Assist with the production of leading practice tax software solutions, and support and automate internal and external operations of multinational tax departments. Apply and assess emerging digital technologies to confront new compliance regulatory obligations, manage risk and perform sophisticated data analytics for clients. Consolidating tax data to make analysis and planning more efficient. Identify ways to improve reporting capabilities to enhance our clients’ ability to evaluate risk and capitalize on opportunities. Support project team members in areas of technical, process operations technical, and data/technical guidance to help ensure timely completion of deliverables for clients. Manage and motivate teams with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Cultivate business development opportunities.

Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Tax, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate related work experience. Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Accounting, Tax, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field and 4 years of related work experience.

Must have 4 years of experience working in a professional services firm, a consulting firm, or a mid-sized/regional to large-sized/national public accounting firm.

Must have 4 years of experience converting business and technical requirements into appropriate solutions.

Must have 4 years of experience in implementing Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365 or Microsoft Azure cloud solution.

Must have 2 years experience in implementing solutions with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate, Power BI, and/or Power Apps.

Must have 2 years of Microsoft 365 cloud development.

Must have 2 years of experience in implementing third-party solutions.

Must have 2 years of experience in design and development of SQL Server and Azure Synapse

Must have 2 years of experience with developing ETL solutions using ADF (Azure Data Factory).

Must have 2 years of ERP experience, including SAP, Dynamics, and/or Oracle.

Must have 2 years experience managing large, multidisciplinary projects such as ERP implementations, tax co-sourcing engagements, and/or finance transformations.

Must have at least one of the following approved Microsoft technical certifications: AZ-305, PL-400, PL-600, PL-900, and/or MS-600.

Requires domestic travel up to 60%, to serve client needs.
