Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $20.50 / hour

What you'll be doing as a Scalehouse Attendant:

• Serve as the first point of contact for customers depositing waste at a waste management facility, greet customers, direct customers and other traffic, and answer customer questions

• Approach all encounters with employees, customers and vendors in a friendly, service-oriented manner.

• Calculate correct payments for customers.

• Ensure that incoming garbage loads are safe and do not contain any inappropriate material.

• Ensure that customers and employees conduct all business in a safe manner and wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

• Provide general upkeep of the Scale House.

• Complete all administrative tasks including regular filing, and complete required reports.

• Keep immediate supervisor fully informed of all problems or matters requiring his/her attention.

• Attend company sponsored training and meetings as directed.

• Work overtime as needed.

• Perform other duties as assigned, including data entry and minor customer service responsibilities.

Shift Timings - 1st Shift (Day)

Job requirements:

• High school diploma or G.E.D preferred

• Previous experience preferred but not required

• Background check and drug screening required
