Job Description

An employer is looking for a systems Engineer to join their team. Their day to day will consist of conducting on-going As-Is and To-Be analyses aimed at addressing future demand for service, including the expansion and improvement of core solution technologies in the areas of biometrics, data recovery, service-oriented architectures, cloud native architectures, process and transaction management and dynamic rules engines. This role will support the Technical Director in managing system evolution and refreshment needed to future-proof these solutions against obsolescence and to ensure that legacy technologies and services continue to satisfy changing stakeholder needs. They will be working alongside 4 other system engineers to support biometric system performance testing in non-production environments to optimize matching services and ensure the system continues to meet performance and matching accuracy thresholds.This role is fully remote with core hours between 9 am 4 pm (EST) Monday Friday; candidate must reside and perform all work within the United States.

Skills and Requirements

-Ability to obtain DHS EOD

-Minimum of 5 years of Systems Engineering experience

-Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Engineering Management, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree program. -Experience with biometric matching technologies and system

-Experience with Splunk

-Experience with AWS or AWS GovCloud

-Experience with JIRA Ticketing systems

-Experience with DevOps and Agile methodologies null
