Job Description

Insight Global is looking to fill an Application Developer to support a federal financial client of ours in a modernization project of tax processing systems. This candidate will be responsible for assistance with design, development, integration, testing, and deployment of the platform used by the federal government.

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

• extensive experience with CRL (Core Record Layout), QSAM Data Formats.

• experience with IBM z/OS assembly language.

• including understanding assembly instructions, addressing modes, data manipulation techniques, and job control processing.

• knowledge of CA Endevor SCM tool.

• knowledge BMC Control-M and automating job scheduling, managing workflows, and monitoring job execution.

• experience with legacy mainframe data formats such as DB2, QSAM, VSAM data formats.

• Understanding of java code: java syntax, libraries, frameworks, and best practices. - MBI clearance null
