Our client is seeking a Process Improvement Engineer to join their team. As a Process Improvement Engineer, you will oversee compounding processes by working on the factory floor to monitor and improve current processing parameters, maximize production rates, troubleshoot production runs, train new and existing personnel and assist plant engineer and management in the best design possible for production lines. The ideal candidate will have ability to work independently & as part of cross-functional teams, able to work under minimal supervision and exhibit a high attention to detail which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Process Improvement Engineer

Location: Henderson, Kentucky

Pay Rate: Up to $32.00/hour (will be dependent on experience level)

Key Responsibilities

• Meet with production personnel and managers to assess existing processes.

• Draft process ideas to reduce costs and improve production rates.

• Design and test process upgrades and new process systems.

• Ensure processes comply with safety and quality standards.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years experience in a process improvement role

• HS Diploma required

• Prior experience working in plastics manufacturing preferred
