Carroll College IT Network & Systems Engineer in Helena, Montana
Description: Carroll College seeks a dynamic individual to fill the IT Network & Systems Engineer position. This position will be responsible for researching, planning, implementation and maintenance of technical solutions as they relate to organizational goals including engineering enterprise data, voice and video networks, establishing and operating test facilities. Configures, installs, maintains, and provides support for critical software and hardware components. Monitors system availability and troubleshoots and resolves connectivity interruptions. Helps develop disaster recovery or business continuity plans. Works with vendors, clients, carriers and technical staff on network implementation, optimization and ongoing management. Ability to develop and mentor others.Qualifications: The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in in Computer Science, Computer System Engineering, Information Technology or a related field. Prefer at least 5 to 8 years of experience in Network Administration and associated network hardware, software, and infrastructure. A combination of education and experience may be considered.Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
