Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) Air Dominance Division is seeking an Electrical System Design Engineer for Phantom Works advanced aircraft development programs located in Hazelwood, MO.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate, Experienced, and Senior Electrical Wire Design & Installation Engineers.

Position Responsibilities:

• Develop and document moderately complex electronic and electrical system requirements

• Design hardware, software, and interface specifications

• Test and validate to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements

• Assist in monitoring supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements

• Solve problems concerning fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle

• Research specific technology advances for potential application to company business needs

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

This position requires ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science

• Experience with the design, development, and integration of complex electronic systems or subsystems

• Experience with electronic/electrical systems or subsystems and components including operating principles, design variables, performance, and key interfaces

• Experience with wire harness, electrical and/or mechanical design

• Experience using CEEDS, Mentor Graphics Capital and/or an equivalent avionics wire design tool

• (Level 3): 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• (Level 4): 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Typical Education/Experience:

(Level 2)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

(Level 3)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

(Level 4)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range (Associate, level 2): 79,900 – 108,100

Summary pay range (Experienced, level 3): 96,050 – 129,950

Summary pay range (Senior, level 4): 119,850 – 162,150
