Your day to day

The Engineering Supervisor role will be focus on management of the island Engineering team to ensure the smooth operation of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration requirements along with and all other equipment within the resort and staff living areas.

This role will also support the Utilities Manager regarding team member allocation, with team productivity and utilisation will being the main priority. This role would be best suited to someone who enjoys a variety and a hands-on approach as it is not strictly a management position and will require time on the tools. This role will be fully supported and overseen by the Engineering Manager.

What we need from you

We are looking for enthusiastic and professional team players who knows how to deliver great service and exceed guest expectations. The successful applicant will have:

• You’ll have a Completed High School and have either a trade qualification or university degree would be a bonus, but not essential.

• Flexibility – Work hours may alter depending on Resort Requirements including on call and after hours.

• Manual Handling – Although this is a supervisor role.

• Communication skills – Able to represent the Engineering department, converse with management, stakeholders, and guests.

• Your problem-solving skills will turn Problems into solutions for all Engineering Staff.
