Job Description

The duties and responsibilities of the Administrative/Human Resources Assistant include assisting the Executive Director in the day-to-day operation of the facility, managing the office in an effective and efficient manner, performing human resources and general functions as outlined in established policies and procedures of Methodist Senior Services and in accordance with federal, state and local regulations. Efficient processing and filing of documents are critical to regulatory compliance and the organization's quality assurance programs.

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications

Two years of college/business school with an emphasis in accounting and human resources.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED. Meet minimum age requirements of the State of Mississippi; four years business office experience (including human resources, operations, filing, accounts payable and accounts receivable; extensive computer and data entry experience (Windows, Microsoft Word and Excel experience preferred); able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; able to maintain confidentiality in daily operations; able to conduct daily duties in a professional manner; able to operate office machines, such as: computer, calculator, copy machine, fax, etc.; excellent relationship skills; able to perform skills as learned through continuous on-the-job training.
