Description We are seeking a Senior Accountant based in Hartland, Wisconsin. This role involves the coordination of accounting and reporting processes, including transaction recording in the general ledger, account balance maintenance and reconciliation, and assistance with the month-end close process. The position requires a deep understanding of account variances, the ability to prepare analysis and reports, and the capability to become a subject matter expert in the Syteline ERP conversion for the accounting and reporting process.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the Syteline ERP conversion for the accounting and reporting process

• Prepare journal entries to record monthly transactions in the general ledger, ensuring support for each entry

• Assist with monthly close, including completion of assigned tasks, reconciling assigned account balances, reviewing, and explaining account variances

• Account for payroll and related activity and accruals, including commissions, benefits, and taxes

• Account for intercompany transactions between entities and reconcile each month to ensure proper elimination in the consolidation

• Assist internal customers in researching accounting matters and ensuring the general ledger is accurately presented

• Perform advanced analysis on accounting activity and recommend areas for process improvement

• Use skills such as Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries, Microsoft Excel, Month End Close, NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, CPA, Public Accounting, Public Accounting Audit, Public Company, Manufacturing Company, Month-end Close Activities, Monthly Account Reconciliation, Reporting for Multiple Locations, SyteLine, Syteline ERP. Requirements • Applicant must possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in a Senior Accountant role or similar.

• Demonstrable skills in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations are necessary.

• Proficiency in working with General Ledger and Journal Entries is required.

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and have experience with Month End Close procedures.

• Familiarity with NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, and SyteLine ERP systems would be beneficial.

• A certified public accountant (CPA) qualification is desirable.

• Applicants with experience in Public Accounting and Public Accounting Audit will be given preference.

• Experience in a Public Company or Manufacturing Company would be advantageous.

• Ability to perform Month-end Close Activities and Monthly Account Reconciliation is crucial.

• Experience in Reporting for Multiple Locations is required.

• Applicants should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be able to meet deadlines.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills are essential.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary.

• Applicants should have a strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in their work.

• A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
