Trinity Health Registered Nurse RN - Float in Hartford, Connecticut

Position Purpose:

At Saint Francis Hospital , we are seeking a dedicated and skilled Float RN to join our dynamic healthcare team. As a critical part of our organization, you will provide exceptional patient care across various units, including Inpatient Trauma, Acute Care, Oncology, Neuroscience, and Cardiovascular Care .

What You Will Do:

In this role, you will:

  • Monitor, record, and respond to patients’ clinical status.

  • Assist with various levels of care and treatment , supporting and encouraging rehabilitation.

  • Be assigned to your designated unit by the Nursing Supervisor prior to each shift.

  • Float between one or more units during your 12-hour shift.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education : Graduate of an accredited college or university-affiliated nursing program. BSN graduates preferred .

  • Experience : 2 or more years of Inpatient Hospital RN experience.

  • Licensure : Current licensure as a Registered Nurse RN in Connecticut .

  • Certification : BLS (Basic Life Support) required.

Work Schedule:

  • Part-time position - 24 hours per week - Day
