Trinity Health Lead Cardiology Tech - Invasive Cardiac Cath Lab in Hartford, Connecticut

Description:

Position Purpose

This position is responsible for the expedition of peripheral intervention and structural heart workflow in the Hybrid Operating Room and Cardiac Cath Laboratory, including technologist assignments and scheduling changes with the physicians.

What you will do

  • Responsible for training new and current technologists in all related invasive procedures and trouble-shooting of equipment including quality control.

  • Assists and performs technical procedures on patients of all ages particularly adults. Provides "on-call" coverage on a 24 hour a day, 7 day-a-week basis as required.

  • Can be relied upon as a resource for information to the Manager for input into coding and performance evaluations.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Registered Cardiovascular Technology program. AS degree or equivalent required.

  • Licensure: Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology or Cardiovascular Credentialing International. CVIT Certification preferred.

  • Experience: 2-3 years prior experience preferred. CPR/BLS required.
