Description:

Trinity Health Of New England is looking for an Endoscopy Tech with CNA certification to join our team of mission-driven healthcare innovators.

Position Purpose

Under the direction of the GI registered nurse, the Endoscopy Technician assists the physician and GI registered nurse before, during, and after diagnostic and therapeutic procedure in implementing the plan of care.

What you will do

  • Assisting in data collection to identify the patient’s needs, problems, concerns, or human responses, such as vital signs

  • Managing instrument sanitation

  • Provide and maintain a safe environment for the patient and staff by complying with regulatory agency requirements and standards set forth by professional organizations and employer

  • Knowledge of practice related issues related to the field of gastroenterology

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must have an active CNA license

  • Minimum High School diploma or equivalent

  • Previous experience in GI or clinical environment preferred

  • Must maintain clinical competency required for areas of assignment, including CPR

  • Knowledge of medical terminology
