Trinity Health EKG Technician in Hartford, Connecticut

Description:

Under moderate supervision, the technician performs electrocardiograms, holter monitors, stress test, cardiac monitoring, on inpatients and outpatients of all ages, as required and / or directed according to established standards and policies.

What you will do

  • Responsible for processing studies. Position may require working at either campus.

  • Keeps equipment neat and clean.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: High School graduate

  • Job Knowledge/ Experience: Previous EKG technician experience.

  • Licensure: None

  • Certification: BCLS

  • Job Skills: Technical aptitude, ability to learn fundamentals of ECG recording, medical terminology and other non-invasive cardiology testing. Good interpersonal skills. Good computer knowledge base.
