DESCRIPTION OF WORK The primary role of this position is to act as the main federal grant coordinator and audit liaison for the department. In this capacity, the individual is responsible for overseeing all fiscal aspects pertaining to the management of federal grants. This includes the crucial task of preparing the federal budgets for the department at every stage of the budget process, encompassing state, federal, and special funds. In this position, you will ensure diligent monitoring of the budget throughout the year, guaranteeing that financial resources are allocated appropriately and in accordance with regulations.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment (37.5-hour work week) Work hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch. Work schedule is negotiable.

Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time up to two days a week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as a Fiscal Management Specialist 2; or Two years of experience in professional fiscal administration, and a bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, economics, or a related field; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
