The role of this position involves overseeing multiple NPDES programs for PennDOT, which encompass the management of MS4, construction stormwater compliance, and potable water/wastewater at DOT facilities. In addition to this, the position is responsible for delivering training and educational programs to both the general public and other DOT employees. You will play a crucial role in preparing and reviewing monitoring reports, conducting inspections, investigating violations, and developing standard operating procedures. Furthermore, you are tasked with preparing technical reports to ensure the smooth functioning of these programs.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment. Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch. Work hours may be flexible; 7.5 hour workday and 37.5 workweek. Telework: You may be eligible to telework, part-time, after initial on-boarding. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection.  If you are unable to telework, you will have to report to the headquarters office. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Two years of experience as an Environmental Planner 2; or

Six years of progressively responsible professional environmental management, environmental engineering or environmental analysis experience; or Three years of progressively responsible professional environmental management, environmental engineering, or environmental analysis experience and a Master's Degree in one of the environmental science or engineering fields; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
