DESCRIPTION OF WORK In the role of Clerical Assistant 3, you will be responsible for conducting research using the PA Vehicle Code, Commonwealth Automated Registration Entitling System (CARATS) records, PennDOT policies, personal interviews, and other documentation for both internal and external clients. You will verify vehicle title, registration, and disability parking placard records, make decisions regarding these records, maintain records, and provide information to customers and partners. Your duties will also include answering calls and inquiries from the public, lienholders, partners, and internal customers, managing electronic messages received through the Customer Care Center, and providing help desk support to electronic lien entitling (ELT) service providers for lien discrepancies on vehicle records. It is essential to maintain accurate work logs, files, spreadsheets, and reports to ensure timely and precise responses to customers and PennDOT management units, as well as maintain accurate production records within the work unit.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. One year as a Clerical Assistant 2 (commonwealth title); or One year of moderately complex clerical experience; or An equivalent combination of experience and training. Additional Requirements: You must be able to perform essential job functions. How to Apply:
