DESCRIPTION OF WORK In the role of Clerical Assistant 3, you will be responsible for conducting research using various resources such as the PA Vehicle Code, Commonwealth Automated Registration Entitling System (CARATS) records, PennDOT policies, procedures, personal interviews, statements, and other documentation. This research will be performed to assist both internal and external customers. Your tasks will include verifying the accuracy of vehicle title, registration, and person with disability parking placard records, making decisions regarding these records and any associated products, maintaining records, and providing information to customers and partners. Additionally, you will handle phone calls and inquiries from the public, lienholders, partners, and internal customers. You will also receive and distribute electronic messages through the Customer Care Center and provide support to electronic lien entitling (ELT) service providers regarding lien discrepancies on vehicle records. It is crucial that you maintain accurate work logs, files, spreadsheets, and reports to ensure prompt and accurate responses to customers and PennDOT management units, as well as maintain accurate production records within the work unit.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

One year as a Clerical Assistant 2 (commonwealth title); or One year of moderately complex clerical experience; or An equivalent combination of experience and training. Additional Requirements: You must be able to perform essential job functions. How to Apply:
