In this position, you will provide clerical and office support to the Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV), Apportioned Registration Program unit by examining and processing commercial vehicles titles and registration applications. DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Clerical Assistant 3, you will handle applications and inquiries received through different mail channels, such as postal service, messenger, legislative, fax, and counter customers. You will also work with electronic options like notepads, CMV mail queue, and Outlook. Your responsibilities will involve a range of commercial motor vehicle transactions, such as titling cars and trucks, suspending or restoring records, and issuing registration or duplicate credentials. Additionally, you will handle customer inquiries over the phone, in-person, or through written communication, manage a cash drawer or submit a funds collected report, and work at the customer service counter.

In this role, you must understand and interpret motor vehicle regulations, bureau policies, and processing procedures for titling and commercial motor vehicle registration. This includes referencing information from various agencies to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. One year as a Clerical Assistant 2 (commonwealth title); or One year of moderately complex clerical experience; or An equivalent combination of experience and training. Additional Requirements:
