Reference #: 4427109 THE POSITION The Bureau of Driver Licensing is hiring a Clerical Assistant 2 for processing assigned Ignition Interlock Limited License (IILL) petitions for customers under suspension and/or revocation.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK This position is responsible for processing assigned Ignition Interlock Limited License (IILL) petitions for customers under suspension and/or revocation, as well as any restoration work. The incumbent ensures proper notification of and return of products and correspondence to the customer.  The Clerical Assistant 2 performs data entry of IILL petitions and various types of other restoration work received in the unit, and updates Pennsylvania driver records by processing forms, statements, and other documents, received through the mail from customers whose driving privilege are suspended, revoked, canceled or disqualified.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment. Work hours are 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday - Friday, with a 1-hour lunch. Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $34,621 (before taxes). Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (commonwealth title); or Graduation from high school; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
