DESCRIPTION OF WORK Responsibilities of this position include the following: Sorts mail daily by filing type and date.(Corporate, Uniform Commercial Code, Certification, Charities) Perform data entry of all documents pertaining to the Division of Operations and Support.(Corporate, Uniform Commercial Code, Certification, Charities) Inputs information from the filings and requests for processing in the computer system according to bureau policies and procedures, as provided. Review documents to ensure they meet all requirements and verify all data entry to confirm they are error free. Correct errors as found. Search and retrieve information contained on microfilm. Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment Work hours are 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday - Friday, with a 1-hour lunch. Telework:  You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, after 6 months.  In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection.  If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting salary of $34,621 annually (before taxes) You will receive further communication regarding this position via email. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (commonwealth title); or Graduation from high school; or An equivalent combination of experience and training. Additional Requirements:

You must be able to perform essential job functions. This position issubject to the promotion provisions of a collective bargaining agreement or memorandum of understanding. If no seniority bidders apply, other applicants will be considered.
