The Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (PCCD) is seeking an Administrative Officer 4. This position provides guidance to Grants Management, program, and clerical staff on issues related to grants management such as federal and state grant guidelines and PCCD grant management policies and procedures. DESCRIPTION OF WORK This Administrative Officer 4 position serves as the Grants Administration Manager. Duties of this position include complying with and assisting in determining the allocations for formula-based grant programs, preparing reports to track available balances of all funding streams under your supervision, participating in developing new grant related aspects, and attending various meetings. In addition, you review and approve grants management related material prior to publication on the PCCD website. You produce financial data related to grants for numerous reports and assist with the preparation and submission of federal financial reports.

Supervisory duties include ensuring the workload is equally distributed among staff, review staff work, and oversee accounting positions and their staff. You also oversee employees' financial reviews, sub-grants, project modification requests, and other general duties.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment, 37.5-hour work week Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, reporting to the office one (1) day per month and as needed. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. Salary:Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $74,191 (before taxes). One year as an Administrative Officer 3; or Six years of experience in progressively responsible and varied officer management of staff work in public or private organization, including experience in personnel management, budgeting, and procurement; and such training as may have been gained through graduation from a four-year college or university; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training .
