DESCRIPTION OF WORK As an Administrative Officer 3 you will coordinate the BEP administrative operations, the work of BEP agents, professional staff, clerical support personnel, and facility operations across the Commonwealth. This position develops administrative systems regarding policies, processes, and procedures and conducts all personnel actions regarding BEP program staff. Work includes negotiating agreements and leases with businesses, influencing and approving training initiatives, and monitoring facility renovation and installation of new sites. Collaboration is essential as this position holds periodic conferences and trainings with subordinate personnel and represents the BEP in meetings and conferences on matters regarding financial operations, procurement, facilities management.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. Salary:Most employees will start at the beginning level of the advertised salary. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as an Administrative Officer 2; or Four years of experience in progressively responsible and varied office management of staff work in public or private organization, including experience in personnel management budgeting or procurement; and such training as may have been gained through graduation from a four-year college or university; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
