The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation is currently seeking an Administrative Officer 2 to fulfill the role of a budget and grants manager for the Bureau of Driver Licensing (BDL). DESCRIPTION OF WORK As part of your responsibilities, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the budget of BDL. You will also be required to inform the Bureau Director about any budget concerns and provide necessary information to Division Managers for effective wage and overtime management. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing and submitting budget requests and making adjustments as needed to ensure proper allocation of funds within BDL. Furthermore, you will collaborate closely with the Department's Bureau of Office Services on contracting and procurement matters.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

One year as an Administrative Officer 1; or Three years of experience in progressively responsible and varied office management or staff work, including experience in personnel management, budgeting, or procurement; and a bachelor's degree; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
