As an Administrative Assistant 1, you will work closely with the Board Secretary and Administrative Officer to ensure the PLRB office runs smoothly. Your primary duties will include preparing case files and documents for monthly Board meetings. This position also coordinates procurement and training, acts as timekeeper, and makes travel arrangements for PLRB staff. Other responsibilities include composing various reports, letters, emails, and correspondence as well as maintaining paper case files and answering the telephone to direct callers. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with the Board Secretary and Administrative Officer on special projects and assist staff in the office as needed. Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch. Telework: You will have the opportunity to work from home (telework), part-time.  In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection.  If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Such training as may have been gained through graduation from a four year college or university or Any equivalent combination of experience and training. Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree/credits.
