ManTech Lead CNO Test Engineer in Hanover, Maryland

Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Lead CNO Test Engineer to join our team in Hanover, MD.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • As a Lead CNO Test Engineer, you will work in agile environment and leverage your skills in Systems Engineering, Test Engineering, and Networking to devise operational scenarios, performance tests, and support operations.

  • You will be a contributing member of a small multi-disciplinary team and responsible for characterizing system behavior, analyzing performance and contribute to readiness reviews and product release cycles.

  • You must be able to effectively communicate with the technical team, management, and customer to keep them informed of progress, plans and potential issues.

  • You may be expected to collaborate with other organizations and teams to gain the necessary insight to accurately assess system performance.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology and 10 to 12 years of relevant experience.

  • Experience testing large scale systems.

  • Experience developing System Test Plans, Requirements Test Verification Matrices and System Test Cases.

  • Experience working with, configuring, and testing embedded systems.

  • Participation in system test readiness reviews and operation readiness reviews.

  • Knowledge of networks and IP subnets/routing is required. Ability to configure network interfaces, set IP addresses and subnets.

  • Experience creating and configuring Virtual Machines to emulate operational environments.

  • Familiarity with basic VLAN/VPN/NAT concepts.

  • Familiarity with signal analysis tools such as Wireshark.

  • Development experience using Python, Ruby, or JavaScript.

  • Familiarity with the Linux operating system.

  • Experience working in an Agile environment utilizing the Atlassian suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience testing systems that host Real-Time Operating Systems such as VxWorks, Integrity, eCos or POSIX compliant Operating Systems such as Solaris or BSD.

  • Familiarity with SVN or GIT version control systems along with an understanding of basic Configuration Management principles.

  • Experience with network test equipment such as Spirent/Ixia/Xena packet testers.

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • Active/Current TS/SCI with Polygraph is required to start

Physical Requirements:

  • Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing/walking/talking and must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.

  • Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one work site to another (at customer site).

  • Communicating with others to exchange information and frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

  • Working with computers.
