This working student position is part of our Continental Tires Makers Garage program. In the Makers Garage we are working in a startup-type environment designing and developing innovative applications, cyber-physical prototypes and functional proof-of-concepts for our digital solutions Tires business.

The position is available from April 2024, to support us with up to 20 hours per week for a duration of at least 12 months. The activity takes place both on site at our location in Hannover Stöcken and remote.

As an IoT working student, you will..

• Develop software and/or hardware prototypes to demonstrate the feasibility and functionality of concepts.

• Keep current with technology trends, relevant academic research, software skills and tools and disseminate among experts and team members.

• Exploratively figure out innovative solutions to given problems in an agile manner.

• Student in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Informatics, Embedded Automation Design, or related field

• Programming experience with C/C++, Python, C#, Java or others

• Confident handling of MS Office-programs

• Very good English skills, both written and spoken and German skills beneficial

• High team orientation, open-minded, and analytical thinking
