S.T.O.P. presents an exciting opportunity to work for a growing yet established consulting firm located in central New Jersey, offering professional services in all aspects of traffic control. S.T.O.P. also has a vehicle rental business for our many engineering and surveying clients. We work closely with NJDOT, NJTA and other authorities in meeting their traffic control guidelines. S.T.O.P. has state-of-the-art equipment which is in compliance with all entities from the tri-state area.
Job Description This is a full-time position with full benefits for a qualified candidate. The candidate should be skilled in scheduling/coordination as well as being well-versed in administrative functionality and possess highly effective and professional communication skills. Successful candidates will strike a balance between working on day-to-day tasks with a high level of attention to detail and thinking strategically about the bigger picture and long-term company goals. We are looking for a reliable and hard-working individual who is willing to learn and grow with the company for the foreseeable future. The ideal candidate will also have experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). This is a great position for those with Operations and/or Personnel Management experience looking to grow professionally alongside a successful and established, high-tech firm.
Requirements Attention to detail and strategic thinker. Experience scheduling in a dynamic environment. Ability for multi-tasking and switching gears frequently throughout the day 5-year experience in traffic control. Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Proficiency in professional writing and verbal communications. Knowledge of mechanical repairs and/or construction is a plus Professional outlook, values, and the ability to work in a team setting and individually are required.
