Description

We are searching for a Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team located in Hamilton, New Jersey. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be instrumental in handling administrative tasks, assisting patients, and ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare facility. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to inbound calls and manage a multi-line phone system efficiently.

• Take responsibility for the front office, ensuring a welcoming and organized environment.

• Confirm appointments with patients, ensuring they are informed and prepared for their visit.

• Register new patients and update the records of returning patients.

• Verify medical insurance details and process copays accurately.

• Provide compassionate assistance to patients, addressing their queries and concerns.

• Check patients in and out of the facility, ensuring a smooth process.

• Contribute to the efficient day-to-day administration of the healthcare facility.

• React promptly and professionally to patient emergencies.

• Maintain superb time management and record-keeping systems.

Requirements • Proficiency in answering inbound calls and managing a multi-line phone system

• Experience in medical front office procedures and protocols

• Ability to confirm, schedule, and reschedule appointments as needed

• Skills in assisting patients with their needs and inquiries

• Experience with patient check-in and check-out procedures

• Proficiency in registering new patients and updating existing patient records

• Experience in verifying medical insurance and handling copay processes
