Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Controller in Haltom City, Texas. This is a contract-to-hire position. 100% ONSITE in Haltom City, TX 76117.

Contract-to-hire Controller position:

This role is primarily focused on overseeing accounting and HR functions. You will be responsible for risk management, forecasting, budgeting, tax assessment, and creating financial reports. You will also manage HR elements and supervise a team of two staff members.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all accounting functions within the organization

• Implement and maintain effective risk management strategies

• Drive the forecasting and budgeting processes to ensure financial efficiency

• Conduct tax assessments and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations

• Create comprehensive financial reports for senior management review

• Manage HR elements within the organization, ensuring compliance and efficiency

• Supervise a team of two staff members, providing guidance and support as needed

• Utilize accounting software systems and enterprise resource planning tools effectively

• Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded

• Conduct regular audits to ensure financial accuracy and transparency

• Manage the monthly close process, ensuring all financial data is up to date and accurate.

   Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting

• Ability to manage all Accounting Functions

• Familiarity with Budget Processes

• Ability to handle Monthly Close processes

• Experience in preparing Financial Statements

• Proficiency in Forecasting financial trends and budgets
