What you’ll do:

"The product expert is the primary point of contact for the sales organization in the region to provide technical support to customers on the existing offering.

  • Helps customer to specify the right product for its application within the ITD portfolio in order to create new business opportunities across the region,

  • Liaising with other functions in the organization worldwide, provide all technical data required to support the design-in phase but also thoughout the life of the customer project,

  • Create specific customers & distributors presentations addressing off the shelf technical solutions at customers,

  • Conduct Tech Days / Product trainings at Customer & Distributor place,

  • Gather Market intelligence and screen for new targets and stimulate the sales actions plan."

"In daily link with the Sales and CSR teams of ITD,as well as the sales forces from our distributors, and when appropriate directly with customers:

(i) Propose and direct to the suitable ITD solutions based on customer requirements, and bring necessary technical information to help customer validate the design in: product life cycle status, cross references, drawings, 3D models, environmental certificates

(ii) Participate in Continuous Improvement of cross functional projects, including benchmarking of competition products, development of Product support tools & methods, in order to develop Customer Satisfaction.

(iii) To co-ordinate with various Product Managers to work out road map to create new product introductions suiting Indian market.

(iv) To align with make in India policy to introduce various value added distribution / localization of various products at Eaton ITD, Coimbatore site.

(v) To work closely wit India customer support team to provide right technical support in issuing technical bids to customer tenders

(vi) Support NBO pipeline and targets screening for Indian business. Initiate the sales follow up and actions.

(vii) Train new sales (internal/external) person to ITD solutions. Act as a technical coach for the new comers in the sales team or at Distribution.

(vIII) Support sales in customer visit for extra expertise when appropriate

(vii) Respect company policy and local compliance requirements."

Qualifications:

BE-Electrical/Mechanical

Min 8-10 year of experience on Connector Product Handling with respect to Aero, Defense, Marine , Space & Industrial (Railways) Market Segment
