This exciting role offers opportunity to:

• Lead and execute various new product development projects for Aerospace application. Additional responsibilities include executing application engineering, VAVE and B&P projects, while driving continuous improvement to meet project and business KPIs and ensure stakeholder and customer satisfaction.

• Execute technical, schedule, cost, and quality commitments as per project scope. An additional responsibility of managing the project/program financials, as appropriate.

• Apply robust design methodologies for decision making - DFSS, LEAN, DMAIC.

• Know-how of aerospace product testing and qualification - DO160 and failure investigation, FRACA (RCA, FTA, 8D)

• Execute IPT leadership across the project(s). Seek team input to promote a rapid resolution to issues. Provide feedback on performance indicators.

• Handle all communication with stakeholders regarding the work in hand and coordinate all related activities to complete the projects.

• Manage effective customer communications. Improve organization responsiveness to customer requirements. Communication & managing customer expectations and contractual commitments internal to the business.

• Play a key role in developing business proposals and executing the overall program plan. Handle RFI/RFP/RFQ process by providing engineering inputs to customer inquiries, creating solutions and estimating materials, testing costs, and engineering NRE

Qualifications:

Requirement –

• Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing / Aerospace Engineering

• BE/B.Tech with 7+ years of engineering/product design experience in relevant domain Or ME/M.Tech with 4+ years of engineering/product design experience in relevant domain

Skills:

• Experience of new product design, development, testing and qualification

• Knowledge of product life-cycle and working with cross-functional teams

• Proficiency in one or more CAD tools; preferably CATIA and experience with PLM tool

• Experience of modeling and drafting in accordance with ASME Y14.100 and GD&T per ANSI Y14.5M-1982 or newer

• Experienced in using DFSS tools such as DFMEA, DVP, DoE etc to mature product design

• Problem solving skills

• Hard working ability and desire for excellence in executing projects

• Strong & effective communication skills (written and oratory)

• Lead the creation of the integrated project plans & schedules, project budget in partnership with the team and the organization. Manage, forecast, collect cost, and report on project budget/schedule

• Preferred:

• Experience in design of conveyance / aerospace products

• In depth understanding of manufacturing processes

• DFSS GB Certification

• Drive for Innovation with an aim to create business impacts
