What you’ll do:

At Eaton India Innovation Center, Electrical Sector EMEA- PMCC is looking for Lead Engineer to join our Platform and Product-Controls team! This position is based at our office in Magarpatta City, Pune. We are looking for technical lead engineer Verification and Validation for controls team on 'Industrial Controls Product line" This responsibilities for this position include:

• Provide technical guidance and leadership for Firmware validation engineers from Pune

• Lead Projects while working on Industrial Controls & Protection (ICP) products for ES-EMEA across technology domain of Embedded Firmware & delivery.

• Coach, develop and grow the next line of FW test engineers.

• Create Propose new test methods, test case automation and help Test engineers for smooth delivery.

• Work with local and global Managers , Project leads , Product engineering managers to formulate Test teams deliverables. Define clear goals and execute action items to mitigate identified gaps. Leverage EIIC ecosystem for validation to accelerate time to market.

• Build culture of innovation through planned events, participating in brain storming. Identify opportunities for automation and execute division goals for CI.

• Build Organization Capabilities & hire talents for ICP business.

As a successful incumbant you will have had significant prior technical expertience, would need to connect with team on technical aspects with excellent foudation on embedded systems & comm protocols validation

You should have strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to handle multiple concurrent projects and tasks while adapting quickly to changing priorities. You should be thriving in a growth-oriented organization

Qualifications:

• Minimum education for this position is a Bacholers in Electronics/Controls

• Minimum 8+ years of experience in Industrial Control Products domain. Preferred experience in technically leading teams working on Embedded systems V&V & 2+ years experience in Automation , HIL etc

• Should have sound knowledge in Embedded systems , Firmware validation, , Industrial Communication Protocoals validation , Application Software validation applied to products like HMI PLC, Nano PLC, communication controllers for industrial applications

Skills:

• Strong background in DFSS with GB/BB certification

• Drive growth in respective team in terms of breadth and depth of capabilities in Embedded, Software & Mechanical areas in product engineering.

• Proven track record of demonstrating competencies for Testing, Autmation, HIL to manage a large and diverse team in global environment .
