What you’ll do:

Eaton EMEA - ADS Division is looking for a Software Engineer to spearhead the software development engineering activities for software applications. Software Engineer will work on software developement activities, unit test for Software applications. Strong work experience in software development is necessary for the success of this role. • Active participation in all phases of the product development lifecycle (Requirement Gathering, Design, Coding, Testing, and Release) following a structured engineering process to ensure quality and reliability.

• Design & develop UI, Unit test code & Control Algorithms.

• Conduct root cause analyses and provide solutions for software application challenges.

• Collaborate with external and internal customers, such as Product Management, Cybersecurity Team, Product Owner, Stackholders and other Engineering teams during the product development life cycle.

• Develop supporting engineering documentation including software requirements specifications, design documentation, release notes.

• Active participation in design & code review

• Prepares and presents training material for external and internal customers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors in computer science / electronics/ E&TC/ Instrumentation engineering

• 4+ yrs of software development experience in C#.net and WPF with MVVM

Skills:

• Excellent software design and development skills in Microsoft Visual Studio environment

• Experience with software development life cycle including requirements, design, development, and testing

• Experience with multi-threaded programming

• Profficient with Agile concepts

• Experience in handling MFC for windows application development

• Experience with ALM toolchain such as Source Control, JIRA,Confluence, TFS

• Understanding of Microservices.

• Good to have knowledge of

• React.JS

• Node.JS

• Good communication skills in English (verbal and written) to communicate information effectively to customers, and technical staff
